I come in the little things, Saith the Lord: Yea, on the glancing wing of eager birds, the softly pattering feet of furred and gentle beasts. I come in the little things, Saith the Lord: Not borne on the morning's wings of majesty, but I have set My feet amidst the delicate and bladed wheat. I come in the little things, Saith the Lord.

New Creature

Just when the caterpillar thought
the world was over,
she became a butterfly.
~Barbara Haines Howett, Ladies of the Borobudur

I counted well over a dozen Swallowtail caterpillars on our parsley last week.  The next day all that was left were stems.  I didn't mind because I'd rather have butterflies than parsley.  Life is like that.  Sometimes you have to sacrifice something you love for something you love even more.

Therefore if anyone is in Christ,
he is a new creature;
the old things passed away;
behold,
new things have come.
~2 Corinthians 5:17

  1. This is one of the more amazing things in nature … and life in Christ.
    You will have to explain G+1 to me … no heart came up if that's what I was supposed to find!

    1. If you're referring to the red heart I put in my comment sometimes, that is my way of saying thank you for visiting. The G+1 should cause another window to pop-up where you can click on Share. You have to have a Google account to do this. It doesn't register here on this web journal to show you did this, but if enough people G+ a post, I think it makes it more findable on the Web. I'm not totally clear on the process myself.
