I've had fresh figs, fig jam and Fig Newtons, but not dried. I suspect they taste much the same. I didn't even know figs would ...Homegrown figs! I didn't even know figs would grow outside of the warmer climates. I always assumed they were a "tropical" kind of fruit. I wonder how long the stalwart little thing has been there, waiting for you to spot it? And how great will it be to have homegrown figs of your own? Are they easy to dry? Or do you prefer them fresh?
